Scripturfy is operated by Scripturfy LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”). Contact: scripturfy.com/contact.

• Account information: email address, optional display name, optional denomination preference.
• Reading activity: verses and chapters viewed, bookmarks, highlights, reading plan progress. Used to compute streaks, Seeds, and aggregate Barometer trends.
• Prayer requests: text you submit (optionally anonymous). Visible to other users per your settings.
• AI Composer inputs/outputs: prompts and generated content are processed via the Anthropic Claude API and stored with your account.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers, CVVs, or bank details.
• Analytics: anonymous usage events via PostHog (page views, feature usage).

Your reading activity, topic searches, and prayer requests may reflect religious beliefs — a sensitive data category. We treat this data with heightened care. The Barometer is aggregate and anonymized by design: it shows what verses and topics are trending across all users, never an individual’s activity. Individual spiritual activity is never exposed, sold, or shared.

• Provide and improve the service (personalization, reading plans, streaks).
• Compute aggregate Barometer trends (anonymized).
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Send transactional emails (account, subscription, plan reminders — not marketing spam).

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not run targeted advertising.
• We do not share individual reading or prayer data with third parties.

You may delete your account at any time. Account deletion removes your profile, reading history, bookmarks, prayer requests, and AI compositions. Anonymized aggregate data (Barometer counts) is retained. To request deletion, contact us at scripturfy.com/contact.

Scripturfy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
