Terms of Service

By accessing or using Scripturfy (the “Service”), operated by Scripturfy LLC (“we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Scripturfy is an educational and informational Scripture reference tool. It provides topical search, reading plans, aggregate trend data, AI-assisted composition, commentary, and related features. Scripturfy is not pastoral counseling, therapy, or professional mental-health care.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

• Scripturfy+ is billed at $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Annual plans include a 7-day free trial.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Cancel anytime from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit abusive, harassing, or hateful content in prayer requests or community features.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute Scripture data in bulk.
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as your own original scholarship.

The AI Composer uses the Anthropic Claude API to assist in drafting prayers, sermons, and devotionals. AI-generated content is clearly labeled and is provided as a starting point, not authoritative theological guidance. Scripture references in AI output are verified against our database. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before use.

Public-domain Scripture texts (WEB, KJV, ASV) are free to all. Commentary is presented under its respective license with attribution. The Scripturfy brand, interface, curated topic mappings, and Barometer dataset are proprietary. See Credits for full attribution.

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
• Scripturfy is not a substitute for professional mental-health care, legal advice, financial advice, or pastoral counseling.
• Commentary reflects its author’s historical views, not Scripturfy’s position.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scripturfy LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
